Biography

Dr. Gary Hardiman is the Director of the BioMedical Genomics Microarray Facility (BIOGEM) and an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at UCSD. He completed postdoctoral research fellowships at DNAX Research Institute, Palo Alto, CA and worked in the biotech industry before joining UCSD in 2000. Dr. Hardiman's teaching and scholarly interests include functional genomics, pharmacogenomics, model-organisms, biotechnology, and computational life sciences.
